Ship Bottom

Many years ago, a shipwreck off the beach gave the name to the area.

Welcome to Ship Bottom

The bridge drops the incoming visitors to Ship Bottom, the name comes from a shipwreck just off the beach many years ago. The town is home to thriving businesses, restaurants, parks, and schools as well as lovely streets with old and new homes.

Again, the beach is the draw though the bayside park hosts festivals, concerts, fishing tournaments, and the launch for those raft-ups in the bay. The annual Christmas parades demonstrate the sense of community here.
